A lot of us remember the day we heard of the earthquake in Haiti and how devastated this nation was and still is, a lot of the people of Haiti are still living in tents. This nation has been in such dire need for such a long time. My family and I have been involved for the last several years with this non-profit organization Westside Children's Feeding Relief, and it has been a great privilege to do so.
In working with them we have learned so much about Haiti and its many needs and have seen the hardship that the people of Haiti have been going through, and how we can make a difference in the lives of these children and their families helping them by donating to them. You can donate, clothing shoes of any and all sizes, sneakers, tooth brushes combs, etc for the children and their families.
Their mission is to provide food, clothing, medical supplies for the children of Haiti and their families, this has not been an easy road as a lot of us have been affected with the economy. At the present time WCFeeding relief has now over 200 children in the province of L'artibonite, Haiti that can go to school and receive school supplies and uniforms thanks to the support and donations of so many.
As a lot of us are now on summer vacation, WCFeeding is in full throttle obtaining school supplies for the children of Haiti, notebooks, pencils etc as well as flip flops for them. And they are asking for donations to help them obtain these supplies for the children.
