Lemon to Lighten Your Elbows And Knees

Lemon juice is the strongest food acid in our kitchens and there many uses for lemon, my favorite is to brighten my elbows and knees, lemon juice has natural properties that help whiten.  it also whitens dark elbows and knees. If you have dry skin, you can use a lemon-sugar scrub just make sure before using this scrub you have no cuts on your skin or it will hurt and burn I personally learned the hard way..

You can also rub a cut lemon on  dry areas, such as knees, elbows, or heels once again I have to warn that if you have cracked heels avoid rubbing the lemon on them. There are many lemon scrubs out there but I have a couple of favorites here is one of them by Oh She Glows.

Glowing Lemon Sugar Hand Scrub

Homemade Scrub
You can also opt for a homemade scrub with the use of baking soda/salt and lemon juice. Baking soda contains substances that makes the skin super soft  and because of its gritty texture, it also helps in getting rid of dead skin cells. All you have to do is to mix 1/4 cup of baking soda or salt and add a good amount of lemon juice to make it into a paste. Scrub your knees and elbows with this paste and leave it on for 20 minutes. Rinse it off with warm water.

These are just a few, give it a try and share your feedback on how they worked for you and if you have any other advice on how to lighten ones elbows and knees.
