The I Stand campaign is an exciting movement to be a part of started by Marily Wann is a fat rights activist and is the writer for the print 'zine called FAT!SO? And then wrote the FAT!SO book. And has also been part of successful lobbying that resulted in San Francisco adding height and weight to its anti-discrimination laws in 2000.Marilyn Wann has also launched an online campaign to end weight bigotry, promoting the achievement of Health At Every Size. I am so glad to be part of this movement, this movement has brought more light to the shameful ads that were put all over Georgia.

The I Stand movement is raising money to put place body image positive billboards through out Atlanta to promote acceptance of people of all shapes and sizes and against bullying and stigmatizing based on body size. Since Georgia is running shockingly mean billboards and TV commercials about fat kids. The goal of the "Stop Sugarcoating It, Georgia" message is to startle people into recognizing that obesity is a problem. And I understand that the issue is complex but the way it is going about to spread a message is just plain horrific there are so many other ways to share the message of getting healthy.

A lot of us may have been fat kids and know how it was to be bullied and even have low self esteem, but to have billboards that say such hurtful things is just giving more fuel to the people who bully the plus size community and I say to this it blows big time and their is always a better way to send a message about getting healthy.

And I Stand with so many others that say enough is enough.

PLUS SIZE MODEL POSES WITH STRAIGHT SIZE MODEL IN “CONTROVERSIAL” SPREAD

When i first saw the spread that Plus Model Magazine featuring the Beautiful Plus Size Model Katya Zharkova i was taken aback. Not only by the photos but by the statistics on them, that were shockingly true. For example: “Twenty years ago the average fashion model weighed 8% less than the average woman. Today she weighs 23% less.” And also: “Most runway models meet the Body Mass Index physical criteria for Anorexia.” view them here

I use to be Bulimic so i understand the pressures that are put on you as a a teenager even as an adult. I just recently accepted my body as something Beautiful and strong. I remember when i use to throw up all thru highschool because of what people were telling me that i was not beautiful! Most of it came from my own family telling me that no one will ever love me because of my size.
Which was a lie they made up to hurt me.

We as a society have to stop judging each other based our body size, i saw tons of mean and hurtful comments on these pictures. Some that said that the bigger model is a ugly fat pig or the skinny one is just disgusting and should eat a sandwich.. Its words like that that hurt people, and destroy their Psyche. We must talk to our daughters and sons that they are valuable,perfect that their self worth is not measured on how much they weigh, but on the content of their Character.

I found this quote on the Net and give credit to whoever wrote it

“We forget that stretch marks, cellulite and stomach fat is natural. We forget that

we are born human and physically can’t be perfect. We forget that God doesn’t

make us out of plastic and silicone. We forget to be flawed.”

I Hope that Plus Model Magazine message will continually be heard and not be just a flavor of the month. But an ongoing message to everyone in this industry, that what the fashion industry puts out can mess with a young girls or young mans psyche.

Comfort & Style

For rehearsal I decide to go comfortable but still making a statement with my outfit. The purple blouse is from Just My Size and very affordable what caught my eye on this blouse were the V shape design on the top subtle but yet very pretty.

The vest is from Torrid and this one was a steal from there online clearance and by paring the vest with the blouse it gave the whole outfit more of a classic flare on to much over the top but enough.

The slacks were sleek very simple with side pockets and from B Street and I went with the flat black wedges with this since at rehearsal had to be comfortable and still pretty.

The makeup was also simple but I did do more on the eyes with BH Cosmetics palette 1 and M.A.C foundation.

You can pair so many different items and still look fabulous, so dont be afraid and go ahead and start.

Teal Colored Print Blouse

Some of us maybe scared to were print shirts and you shouldn't be anymore. Here I am wearing a teal printed shirt that is not to busy, and the prints are spread around the shirt this helps in keeping it tone down.

I like this shirt because it hugs right under the breast and it flares into a little bubble without making me bigger and actually showing off my curves. I decide to use a black camisole bring out the colors more of the blouse since it is the focus of the whole outfit.

I wear blue-black jeans by Lane Bryant flared at the bottom which I like personally because they give more room to wide hips you can of course use black slacks or jeans.

The shoes are black closed toes with a strap and a small wedge which is extremely comfortable ( especially if you will be walking a lot). You can always wear heals with an outfit like this since the jeans are long they will look fabulous.

I kept the makeup light I used BH Cosmetics Palette 1, and Alice in Wonderland and used most of the teal colors for the eyelid and mixed in some light browns and a cream highlight for the eyebrows.

For the lips I used Buxom lips from Bare minerals and kept the cheek colors light with just a hint of shimmer and bronzer and a teal lily in my hair. Dont be afraid to be noticed go ahead and wear your prints.

Brown Prints (Plus Size OOTD)

I love this outfit because it is comfortable and looks great, the blouse is from J.Jill and the jeans are from Lane Bryant the style is flared and it is from there Venezia collection and they go up to a 26/28 but they have them numbered differently like 6,7, 8 which goes with the style they have.

The shoes I choose for this outfit are skechers in black with a strap in the front they have a small wedge but very comfortable if you plan to walk for a while, and they are breathable becasue they have partial netting in the front and sides.

And as you can see the shirt is at my waist which I love that it covers up my belly (dunlap lol) and it makes it look very neat. The blouse is like a ponacho and I like how this cut gives my arms room to move(Don't know the actually name for the cut ). And the print is not to busy, yes there is a lot going on there but if you get a solid color behind it you bring the attention to the shirt and it is not an overload.

I saw this article and cannot believe that a parent would withhold food from their child because of their fear of the child getting fat. The child was born last year weighing 8 pounds, 2.8 ounces...

She is currently 14 months old weighing only 10 pounds and 14 ounces. This fear of fat has to stop or we will see more cases like this... What do you think?

So we heard Donatella Versace doesn't want women who are bigger than a 4 wearing her clothing. i mean i really dont care but just couldn't believe she would say that. Anywho i really do not like the clothing she makes its way overpriced.

'This is so typical of 99.9 per cent of designers: they only want their clothes worn by the very young and the very thin.

'This is because the clothes are probably not cut well, not in great fabrics, have no corsetry or intricate draping. It takes a better designer with more skill to dress women who have a bit of shape.

Guess what H&M dropped her, doesn't that mean she is losing money?
Not like she needs it but oh well its not a loss for anymore.

Is it hard to find Love being plus sized?

Now this is a loaded question if ever, its hard enough of even being a plus sized women finding a date. So how is it when you are a full figured women? This should be easy to answer and no should be the answer, but its not all black and white there is a gray area when you have curves. We live in a society that has made it very clear that if you are fat and a women you are not going anywhere in life and just to call it a day, a lot of us know that is not so and that train of thought is so out dated and a lot of us don't accept it and we are letting the world know this.

I have to say from experience and what my friends have shared with me some men think because we are fat we are easy and will take whatever kind of attention we can get and be happy with it.

This is so far from the truth for a lot of us who know that we are worth so much more and wont accept any old kind of loving or affection. We have come to this conclusion because we have learned to love who we are and our bodies and what we offer in a relationship as a person, our bodies is just an extension of our beauty and an added plus.

This question was asked to a group and here are some of the response we received:

Virgie L. Dating sucks regarless of weight. AT work, my Pharmacist is well educated, steady job, nice body yet at 36 still single. She is thin. Finding a a good man to be compatible with is hard, and its harder when you don't want to settle for just anyone either.

Ashley N. Men always assume that I am either desperate or easy. It's ridiculous!

Jan M. It was easy for me. Im a big beautiful woman & I found my man. I actully flirted w him & asked him to walk me to my car, we hugged, & have litteraly been together ever since! Hes sexy smart & so sweet. We just got married in Aug. And now have a baby girl on the way. he didnt think I was easy cus im bigger,.he saw my beautiful confidence show thru. Wendy N. I think us BBWs should explore the option of dating and finding a soulmate outside of the race. Im mainly speaking to Black women. I do agree that some see us as easy and desperate. They approach us in direspectful ways. Like talking abt penis size and what they can do in the initial convo. They wnt to label us as "The other" while the main woman is relationship material. Ladies dnt accept that label. U can do better.

Lisa G. I think it is tough regardless of weight but, some men do think because we are bigger we are easy or they can disrespect us. Then there are those that are are obsessed with and only turned on by bigger women, but only in private, and want a skinny woman in public. I do think in the online dating world, being bigger is tantamount to being a leper. You can meet a man's requirements to a T but if you don't look a certain way, you get passed by. Rosalie U. I agree with both Virgie and Ashley. I have trouble finding a date but so do lots of my thin friends. That being said...a lot of guys just want me for sex. It is a real pain. I can fill all a man's requirements for a grlfriend...aside from body type and he will pass me over.

Aleya L. I could write a book on bad first date experiences... I used to think that I got treated a certain way just because of the way I look, but I've come to realize that's only part of the equation. A good friend told me I need to "stop putting the fat up on a pedestal." That caught me by surprise because I knew she was right...dating is hard no matter what size you are. Because there are certain people out there who will try to take advantage of the way I look and keep me a secret, skip past a real first date, or try to use me for sex or a fetish no matter what I do, I know my own approach to dating is completely skewed based on my experiences. I expect the worst, which doesn't really help my own case. It's become a toxic cycle I think that most of us larger women get caught up in, and it takes a conscious effort every time I meet someone new to be as open-minded as possible.

Dayna E. I'm married now, but in all honest I don't believe dating difficulties have to do with size. Often I think its about how approachable we are and how open we are to new people in our lives. Confidence is attractive and when a woman feels good about herself it shows. Women in general who don't value themselves are like lightening rods for users, abusers, and lack luster mates who see them as prey. I think we all have female friends and family members, both skinny and plus size, who fit that mold. There are good men and women out there who will love you, because YOU love YOU. They will see worth in you, because YOU see worth in YOU!

And yes they do have dating sites that charter to the plus size community, Plus Size Luv.com and many others out there.

Twitter a new place to Bully Phat people

This is getting so old so quick it's not even funny, any kind of bullying to any person or group is wrong on all levels, and know the haters are using Twitter to share there hate and cheap shots at Fat people. The new trend on Twitter is #OnlyFatPeople.

I know a lot of people are just so over this and it is really childish behavior and just plain rude,again they are stating facts that are not true, they assume the plus size community are lazy, unclean, stupid and have no self control. Its no joke when you make such a statement on a public social network that yes does effect lives of so many. You can easily say the old rhyme we all learned as kids: sticks and stones can break my bones but words will never hurt me. I have new's for you words do hurt and can kill the spirit of a person.

This is called cyber bullying, it is being address to a community of people who have had to deal with this disgraceful behavior, only fat people face discrimination, hate, mockery harassment, prejudiced and more daily and its still concerned social acceptably.

Well I dont accept this and I know a lot of use will not tolerate this behavior. Yes I am PHAT and I love who I am, as a person who has so much to offer then just being the butt of someones jokes. And remember you need to value yourself because you matter and you make a difference in this world, you don't need to be validated by anyone especially ignorant people.

Bring back the "Big Sexy" Show

Big Sexy came on the air and just blow us away with these beautiful young ladies sharing their lives with all of us. And as we all watched with anticipation to there next move in their careers and just there day to day life, and how they would handle some of the bumps and curves some of us started to see a little but of ourselves in them.

But we are all on our seats to hear when the next show will air, as only three (3) shows were aired and we all want more of Big Sexy.

We want to see how these ladies live their lives being beautiful plus size women in a society that says they are all the wrong size. And actually seeing how they handle some of the obstacles that come there way being in the fashion industry that considers plus size to be a size eight (8).

A lot of us can relate to their third (3) show were they were heckled by an idiot ( there are no other words to describe him) any time someone needs to make fun of someone because of size, color, race or sexual orientation is an idiot. And these ladies handled it with class and did not even give him the time of day, which was awesome

Big Sexy Show Lets show support

Just saw Big Sexy it is an awesome show the ladies are wonderful and they have a lot of courage in sharing their lives with all of us, not a lot of people can do this.The fact that they are doing this I take my hat off to them and applaud them for taking this big step in a society that has already made their mind up on the plus size women.

Please lets all be supportive as the journey these ladies starts on what will be a very bumpy road ahead of them as they expose themselves to the world, their hurts, concerns, worries and they will be judged harshly which is one of the draw backs of reality TV. There is another side to this wonderful journey which is all the women and young girls they will be reaching out to and inspiring by sharing their lives with the public.

But just one thing concerned me was what happened at Goddess, I personally know Nancy Goddess she is a very good friend and not being bias and to some I maybe and that's ok. She has been an inspiration to me since she was the first person to show me that BBW's are beautiful and that we have a voice and to never be ashamed of who I am. And I know that things happen that are out of our hands at times and their is no one to blame and no need to point fingers.

Anyone who has worked in TV (reality TV) knows that sometimes things are taken out of context a lot of my friends in this industry have shared their stories with me and how it has hurt them dearly when they are shown in a light that is not so. Nancy is a wonderful individual & her club has opened many doors for a lot of BBW's, Plus size models and designers. Anyone who has gone to any kind of club knows that you have your crazies, your hungry eyes, players and those who prey on the ladies that have low self esteem, and you will have your everyday folks who just want to have fun enjoy the atmosphere.

And at times things will get out of hand and it looks like this happened, the evening that the ladies were their so sorry for their experience at the club and but this is the frustration that is felt at other BBW clubs, just please note that the things we say can hurt others. But note that when their is a TV crew in the midst "oh no" you are asking for the outrageous, uncontrollable individuals will come with no shame in their game, they will come out in full force and this is what happened.

Lets show our love and support to the ladies of the show they have put themselves out their, remember this is real life and its not perfect.

So please don't be to harsh on Goddess since they have been a very positive place for BBW's and their admires: Please read below on how Goddess started:

How is a Goddess born? For Nancy it all began with a fertile imagination. The desire to see herself and others like her having a night out socializing in an environment supportive and yes “adoring” of their larger rounder figures. OMG Jaime really, what the heck was going through your mind when you this:
"Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver has compared the obesity 'epidemic' to the Aids crisis." Dang that is so wrong on so many levels Jaime not cool. I understand that you are promoting a change in eating habits and sharing with us some alternatives in food choices this is awesome. But you have to see the big picture here how come so many people are obese? It has to do a lot with a lot of more people out of work and a lot of families living a very tight budget.

Jaime did state that "the availability of cheap, high-calorie convenience foods" this at times maybe the only food some can afford and dont get me wrong I am supporter Jaime's quest on changing some of our eating habits and what Jamie has done by going to the schools and showing what changes one can do in the school system. But there is some things that one must think before being said. I will still be one of your supporters when it comes to the government making changes as you stated:

With our western-style diets, our biggest problems are a direct result of what the experts call 'bad feeding' – which basically means eating a load of rubbish, highly processed food that's jammed full of salt, fats, sugars, additives, and cheap processed meats," Oliver said. "Governments around the world like it when food is cheap and shops are full, but they're achieving this by allowing big businesses to pump out this sort of food and drink in mass volumes."

I see this a lot at food banks when a family comes in to get food and what I have is not the healthiest but I know that they will have some food for the week and we appreciate all the donations we get but we dont get a great deal of fruits and vegetables because of storage and the longevity of the food.

But at this time Jaime all I can say or do is SMH This is not a bashing of Jaime Oliver I feel he is doing a great job and I know that at times we must get attention to a really important cause and this time you may have gotten the wrong kind.

OMG I walked into this store and I was floored, when I saw all of this costume jewelry at (Fashion Jewelry Nail &Barber Supply) that's there name. I was in paradise so much to look at and they are all so affordable .99 cents for more than half of the jewelry there plus.

As you can see they have rows upon rows of costume jewelry and at .99 or even 1.99 you cant go wrong, and yes they do carry more elaborate costume jewelry and those prices vary but still they are so affordable.

They carry cute little bags that run at about $5.00 dollars and the are so adorable

What I love about this place they have so much and anyone on a budget can still look fabulous

The Passing Of A True Inspiration Mia Amber Davis

It sadden our hearts to here the news as Mia Amber Davis has passed away we personally send out our prayers to the Davis family and friends and know that our prayers are with you at this time.

She was a true inspiration to so many and much more than she was even aware of. She touched so many lives with her compassion towards others and her ability to change the atmosphere with just here mere presence. Mia Amber gave so much back to her community by stepping out and speaking for those whose voices were silenced. Mia Amber Davis will always be remembered and never forgotten for her courage, being outspoken, kind hearted a loving daughter a wonderful wife and overall angel.

Mia Amber Davis, plus-sized model, size-positive blogger, and the underwear-clad full-figured seductress from Road Trip, has passed away.

Only a few hours later, notice of her passing was posted the Facebook page of Plus Model Magazine, where she was creative editor-at-large.

following complications from a routine surgery on her knee, sources confirm to FOX411.

While an official cause of death has not been announced, Davis’ husband, comedian Michael

Yard, tells TMZ.com that the actress went in for surgery Monday to correct an old college

basketball injury on her knee. Davis spoke with her husband Tuesday from Los Angeles before

complaining of dizziness. Hours later, Yard , who was in New York City where the couple lived,

received a call from Davis’ cousin that she was dead.

Childhood Obesity Group And There Ads Rely On Fat-Shaming

This is the sickest thing I have seen OMG how can they saw they are brining awareness to childhood obesity by putting kids down by saying to them There's something wrong with you. Life is a test, and you're failing. If people treat you badly, you deserve it

What the heck is this kind of junk no way, this is right and you cant justify it at all. There is a much better way to bring awareness and to share the message of better health. Using children to say these awful things is sick, yes they are actors but guess what they got paid for doing a job but it was awful.

I am an advocate for the plus size community and for a better healthy living style, we are not blind to all the health concerns and all the complication that being over weight can bring. But using kids that are a heavy is just not the right way to share your message.

Perhaps using the kids in a different light, the kids working out, playing outside, skating making it a much more energetic campaign. And at the same time brining light to the hazards that come with being overweight. "Just a foot note not every fat person is sickly and unhealthy" .

I actually like what Mrs. Obama is doing with The Disney channel, why doesn't this group give her a call to retrain them in sensativatie . The Stop childhood Obesity group should rethink seriously there ad campaign there method is getting the wrong kind of attention and the bottom line is we all want the best for our children as they are our future.

It is hard enough being a kid and then to be overweight we get picked on even more. So lets rethink these ads and put a little bit more love in them with honest truth and not what this group considers straight talk.

This is wrong on so many levels and sick, they have to rethink there methods of sharing there message and to look at what they are really saying. This to me is a real WTFreak moment, and is anyone listening to what this organization is doing and saying. This is what I call modern day bullying just with an ad, how can you say that kids want straight talk, someone should contact them and tell them the differences between straight talk and trash talking because that is what it is to me and so many others.

Bin Laden's death is the result of some as yet unspecified U.S. action
A senior U.S. official tells CNN that Osama bin Laden was killed by the U.S. forces in a mansion outside the Pakistani capital of Islamabad along with other family members.

"Justice has been done," said the president in a dramatic late-night announcement at the White House.

Obama said he ordered the operation after receiving undisclosed intelligence information. Senior administration officials said the terrorist mastermind was found inside a custom-built compound with two security gates. They said it appeared to hvae been constructed to harbor one high-value target and that for undisclosed reasons, officials became clear the hideout was bin Laden's.

Intelligence officials believed the $1 million home was custom-built to harbor a major terrorist. CIA experts analyzed whether it could be anyone else, but time and again, they decided it was almost certainly bin Laden.

Three adult males were also killed in Sunday's raid, including one of bin Laden's sons, whom officials did not name. One of bin Laden's sons, Hamza, is a senior member of al-Qaida.
Obama spoke with Bush and former President Bill Clinton Sunday night to inform them of the developments.

Obama struck a less than boastful tone in his brief announcement, although he said the death of bin Laden was "the most significant achievement to date in our nation's effort to defeat al-Qaida.

"His death does not mark the end of our effort. There's no doubt that al-Qaida will continue to pursue attacks against us. We must and we will remain vigilant," he added.
Moments after he spoke, American officials cautioned that the events could lead to heightened threats against the United States.

When we go to the ballet, we see these young ladies and men that are very slender and built and give a wonderful performance and we have become accustom to seeing this. But with the Big Ballet From Russia gives Ballet a truly new meaning and just takes our breath away, as we see all these plus size beauties show the world that big girls can dance.

And don't think that because these young ladies have a fuller figure's doesn't mean they don't work out as hard as any dancer do, oh no they do work as hard or even more so because of there size and yes there backstage room looks like a buffet. The reason for this is they must maintain a plus size figure and because they work out so much and dance they are losing weight, which is a good thing but they need the dancers to be of a much fuller size a BBW. The Big Ballet troupe of Russia, average weight: 252lb.

The plus-sized Russian ballerinas perform in tutus and on point, just like their slim counterparts, but they have a rule that a traditional prima ballerina only dreams of: If you lose weight, you're out.

They have no body image problems and welcome laughter from the audience.

"I'm not ashamed of what I am," said Tatiana Gladkih, the slimmest of the ballerinas, at 200 pounds. "We expect people to laugh when we show them something funny."

And the women certainly strive to be funny. The second half of the program is pure slapstick when the girls are paired with male dancers who are a fraction of their size.

You have to admire these ladies as they go out and dance there hearts out and show the world that if you are a plus sized person you can do more than what you think. You just have to go out there and try it out.

These have varied among cultures simultaneously. As with most physical traits, there is a wide range of normality of female body shapes.

Human beings and their cultures have perennially focused attention on the female body as a source of aesthetic pleasure, sexual attraction, fertility, and reproduction.

The female body occurs in a range of shapes. The female figure is typically narrower at the waist than at the bust and hips, and usually has one of four basic shapes: banana, pear, apple, or hourglass. The bust, waist, and hips are called inflection points, and the ratios of their circumferences define these basic shapes. Usually, the bust area will depend on the person's weight and height.

Apple (triangle downward)
Apple shaped women have broad(er) shoulders compared to their (narrower) hips. Apple shaped women tend to have slim legs/thighs, while the abdomen and chest look out of proportion compared to the rest of the body. Fat is mainly distributed in the abdomen, chest, and face.

Banana or straight (rectangular)
The waist measurement is less than 9 inches smaller than the hips or bust measurement. Body fat is distributed predominantly in the abdomen, buttocks, chest, and face. This overall fat distribution creates the typical ruler (straight) shape.

Pear or spoon or bell (triangle upward)
The hip measurement is greater than the bust measurement. The distribution of fat varies, with fat tending to deposit first in the buttocks, hips, and thighs. As body fat percentage increases, an increasing proportion of body fat is distributed around the waist and upper abdomen. The women of this body type tend to have a (relatively) larger rear, robust thighs, and a small(er) bosom.

Bullying consists of three basic types of abuse – emotional, verbal and physical. It typically involves subtle methods of coercion such as psychological manipulation. "Ted Williams, homeless man with a golden voice" when we all saw this video on Youtube we were all amazed of his voice and the talent and sadden at the same time that he was were he was. But he shared his story with us and how has has been off of drugs for the last 2 years this was awesome news to all of us. And right now we all of Ted Williams fever because he has become inspiration to a lot of people, who might have said there is no hope but because of everyone who saw that video and the man who posted it Ted has been given a second chance to life.

And as you can see in all of his interviews he is like a little kid in a candy store he is filled with so much joy he just jumps up and down in his seat with excitement.

We have all fallen in love with Ted and his story and wish him much success that this second time around he will not lose sight and he shows it and we all pray that it continues to be this way. As a lot of us have at one time or another given a homeless person some money and said yup they will use it for drugs or to buy a drink we should hold back on that a bit and see that maybe not and then again maybe they will but no matter what just give if you can.

But as you can see how he gives God all the glory and thanks God for giving him another chance whatever belief you have you have to see how humbled he has become and how he has no shame in sharing with the world as rightly so. How many times haven't we all walked by a homeless person and said what a waste and even some that have been found dead or murder by others. This story touches us all because Ted was able to make it because someone saw in him his talent and is gift and was willing to share it with others. We thank this man for doing all that he has done for ted and ask God to bless him.

Chane't Johnson died of a heart attack at the age of 34, and will be missed by many as she impacted the world with her smile her talent and her sheer awesomeness. You will find her bio below and more information but none will capture who she really was. She was the sweetest person you could have come in contact with a soul that thought of her family and friends more then herself. A women with substance and a drive that couldn't be matched because she was a talent ahead of her time. Chane't Johnson won the world of entertainment with her talent but she won our hearts because of her kindness she will be missed as every moment you would spend with her her goal was to make you smile to make sure you were more than just ok.

She will be missed but surely never, never, ever forgotten. We give you a standing ovation Chane't Johnson for all you have done in our lives and all the smiles and joy you have brought us and we applauded God and thank him for letting you come here to us and spend some time and to marvel at his work in your life. Chane't Johnson is truly sui generis. An in-demand actress who moves easily from drama (WITHOUT A TRACE, CRIMINAL MINDS, BIG LOVE) to comedy (THE MIDDLE, BROTHERS, GIRLFRIENDS), Chane’t has guest starred on dozens of television shows and appeared in numerous feature films. Chane't Johnson was born A'Drewana Chane't Johnson in Dallas, Texas. Graduating with honors from Duncanville High School, Chane't was awarded a talent scholarship to Southern Methodist University in Dallas where she earned her BFA in Theatre Arts, and worked multiple seasons with the Shakespeare Festival of Dallas. She went on to achieve an MFA in Theatre Arts from the University of California San Diego (UCSD) in 2001 (awarded San Diego Fellow), the same year she was chosen for the role of Lena in the play "Boesman and Lena" written and directed by Athol Fugard. To date, it is her most cherished role. Chane't lists among her creative influences, Whoopi Goldberg, Anna Deavere Smith, Carole Burnett, Nell Carter, Morgan Freeman, Louis Gossett Jr., and her favorite comedian, Jonathan Winters. She has expanded her work into directing and producing with "Nurses Who Kill..." and "Trailerate" two web shows she launched in 2010. Chane't has two short films Texas Toast and Pony Man arriving in 2011, and is in development to direct and produce two fantasy/horror feature films, The Dark Sisters and Anomoly slated for 2012.

"Shyne" Moses Michael Leviy (born Jamal Michael Barrow on 8 November 1976), also known as Shyne, is a Belizean-born rap artist. He grew up in the notorious Vanderveer Estates in East Flatbush (now known as 'Flatbush Gardens').

Background:
Shyne was born in Belize City, Belize, the son of Frances Franklin and Dean Barrow, the current Prime Minister of Belize. Shyne has only reluctantly acknowledged him as his father, due to his father publicly stating that Shyne was "unwanted".

His mother is the sister of Michael Finnegan, one of Barrow's long-time political colleagues. Shyne remained behind with his uncle in Belize when his mother moved to the US. It wasn't until the age of 13 when she was able to bring him with her to Brooklyn.

Early career and Bad Boy Records:
n 1998, while Shyne was freestyling in a barbershop with friend J.CABA, hip hop producer Clark Kent noticed something unique in Shyne's voice. He sounded eerily similar to the late Notorious B.I.G.. At the time, Clark Kent was working on the "Born Again" posthumous album from Biggie.]
Not soon after, Shyne was making his appearances on fellow bad boy's hits. He was featured on a remix of Total's "Sittin At Home" track and on Mase's second album Double Up on the track entitled "From Scratch". In the same year he was featured on Bad Boy Records CEO Sean "Puffy" Combs' Forever album (Reverse) as well as on a remix of P.E. 2000.[9]
Club New York shooting

It is alleged that on December 27, 1999, Shyne, along with Combs and then girlfriend, Jennifer Lopez, was involved in a shooting at a Manhattan club which left three people injured. As a result the 21-year-old rapper, whose debut album was pending release, was charged with attempted murder, assault, and reckless endangerment. This led to rumours about Shyne's position at Bad Boy records and doubts about whether his debut album was ever going to be released.

Prison:
On June 1, 2001, Shyne was sentenced to ten years in prison. He began serving his sentence at the maximum security prison Clinton Correctional Facility in Dannemora. This seemed to spell the end of his rap career and his legal team's attempts to appeal for a suspended sentence ultimately failed. Rumors that he had severed all ties with Sean Combs and Bad Boy Records proved later to be true.

He had his name legally changed, in early March 2006, from his birthname of Jamal Michael Barrow to Moses Michael Leviy to reflect his mother's Jewish heritage. Just days later he was in court again to challenge New York's application of the 'Son of Sam' law, a law which resulted in his assets being frozen and limiting his ability to line up record deals and remain profitable. He and his lawyers argued that allowing him to make deals with record producers would also increase the value of a potential settlement with the victims involved in the night club shooting.
Despite his ordeal, his incarceration drew many sympathizers, as well as the admiration of many in the hip hop community.

His adherence to the code of silence, which he made reference to numerous times on his self-titled debut album, earned him a hardcore reputation in both the prison community as well as on the streets. Even while incarcerated, his name continued to be linked with several record labels. However, he wasn't without his detractors; fellow New York rapper 50 Cent even went so far as to call him a punk and made light of his situation and his involvement in the "night club incident". Shyne responded in kind on his 2004 release Godfather Buried Alive, with a track entitled "For the Record".

Release and deportation:

On August 4, 2009, Shyne was released to his former producer Nick Dahms. A Manhattan judge signed the order that would schedule Shyne for release on October 6, 2009. Having served over 9 years of a 10 year sentence on which no terms for post-release supervision had originally been placed; at the request of the Correction Department the recent re-sentencing calls for a mandatory probation period of at least two and half years. Shyne and his attorney, Oscar Michelen had initially hoped to avoid this, with Shyne labeling it as being akin to "extra jail time". However Michelen did allow that the state was well within its rights. He was then transferred to the Woodbourne Correctional Facility, where he spent the last months of his incarceration, from Rikers Island where he had awaited his parole hearing.

There was considerable anticipation for his release in hip-hop and mainstream media alike. On October 6, 2009, Shyne was released from New York State custody. However upon his release, Shyne was immediately apprehended into Federal custody. It became public knowledge a few hours following his apparent release that he had been detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at a then "undisclosed detention facility in Western New York State". At least one source revealed that the facility in question was the Buffalo Federal Detention Facility in Batavia. According to his attorney, Oscar Michelen, Federal officials were reviewing the rapper's immigration status and making a determination on whether or not he would be deported to his native Belize. He went on to clarify that Shyne was in possession of a "green card" but had never been naturalized. There was some speculation that Shyne might have been released on bail in the US while his case was being resolved.

However there was no real indication that a bail was ever set or notification of any change in his official status. Although statements from his family in Belize and the US remained positive, according to Shyne's uncle, Michael Finnegan, preparations had been made in the event that the rapper was sent back to Belize. He also revealed that Shyne and his representatives had been expecting to be intercepted by ICE officials upon his release and had deferred members of his legal team to prepare the necessary documents in an effort to deal with this situation. Shortly into the developing ordeal, Dean Barrow Belize's Prime Minister and Shyne's estranged father, sent a petition to New York Governor David Paterson to pardon his son. In 2008 Governor Paterson pardoned rapper Slick Rick who, in a similar situation, also faced deportation.

Barrow stated that he'd been assured that the Governor received his letter and that it was under consideration, but that he did not expect to have any influence in swaying the (ICE) decision.The family also indicated that they had sought the assistance of Charles Ogletree, a Harvard Law professor who is known for being a mentor to President Barack Obama and a part of his inner circle. On October 15, 2009 Michael Finnegan released a statement indicating that all legal matters regarding the case had been turned over to Professor Ogletree entirely. The decision was apparently agreed to by all concerned members of Shyne's family.

By October 22, 2009 most publications were indicating that a final decision had been reached and, barring a last minute pardon from Governor Paterson, Shyne would be deported back to Belize. Shyne was deported back to Belize on Wednesday October 28, 2009 where he will continue to fight for residency in the United States.

In February 2010, the rapper was refused entry into the United Kingdom due to his criminal past. He had commenced his journey in Cancun, Mexico, but was deported upon arrival in the UK after immigration officials refused to allow him to enter the country. On February 16, 2010, Shyne signed a seven figure deal with Def Jam Records. Gangland & Messiah, are scheduled to be released in March 2011, and they will be his first studio album since his release from prison.

This a Psychological - Thriller and boy is it ever I went to see Diversion at the Film Festival and it had me on the edge of my seat from the moment it started. The actors were superb as they drew their audience in, you were living every moment with them. I had the privilege to speak with the actors Barret Walz and Victoria Floro (I must say both of them are awesome individuals) and you can see how very talented they both are and work well together and are a credit to there craft.

I give credit to the casting department and all who made this film the success I personally know that it will be and is. I also can share with my readers that this film will be a block buster because of the script quality and musical score, editing and the actors. This film really is not your run of the mill cloak and dagger it brings more to the table, when they state that it is a psychological thriller they are not kidding this film will mess with your head in a wonderful way.

I have to be completely honest I wanted to see more of this film, the actors get their audience really involved in this film. They are gifted and very talented individuals, they really bring you into the movie, you start experiencing what they do as the film starts unfolding itself.
I say go see the trailer its awesome.

This was the most disgusting and hateful article I have ever seen! (I know there are other articles that are even worse on other subjects) And I cannot believe that it has been left up and not taken down by the Editors of Marie Clarie Magazine.

OMG! In this day an age this hateful and despicable form of hate should not be tolerated,I was Offended by this article as many others were, that are plus size and who are not over weight were offended as well. As you can see in the comments posted on the post Maura Kelly posted.

To add insult to ingury Miss Maura Kelly States her Own Battle with an Eating Disorders and goes to state:

I admit that there's plenty that makes slimming down tough, but YOU CAN DO IT! Trust me. It will take some time, but you'll also feel so good, physically and emotionally. There are so many plus sized actors, singers, subscribers and talented people everywhere who are so displeased with this. This is such an awful thing to write as there are so many young girls who think they should have a perfect body and are pressured to look perfect when no one has a perfect body image. Take a lesson from Dove and what they are doing, self image in this country is a real problem for everyone men, women and our children. The word Gordita is a term used in the Latin community as an affectionate form of endearment used to describe an attractive, curvaceous woman.

Recently I went to see the short film "Gordita"at the International Film Festival and to be honest I did not know what to expect, would it be another I am a big girl and so what or would this be just another sad story of being overweight. And all I have to say is WOW this movie captured me from the beginning with the first clip of the movie,when you just see this image in the screen of the young lady grabbing at her belly and just feeling all around, not in a sexually way but in a way a lot of us can relate to, that is when it hits you. I call this the OMG factory when they ( The film) has put on the screen an issue/concern you may have hidden in your heart and asks that ultimate question so how do you really feel?

And at the same time this is going on with the young lady the music that they choose to use makes the moment more heart felt and brings you in to her world, it made me sit back and go ok whats going on here as my eyes widened and made me anticipate more of the film. Gordita surpassed what I expected and it involved me in its plot by touching a very heart felt issue that we all have to deal with as a society regardless of weight. It is about self worth, and it doesn't matter if you are over weight or under weight if you feel that you are worthless than that is were your issue really lies.

I have to say that this film shows you a very different look on being plus-size and being Latin and how an entire family is effected. And how they all come together to help Tatiana (Tatiana played by Talia Zapien)unknowingly in their own way to show her the true beauty of who she is.

My hat goes off to all who made this film, from casting of the actors who did an outstanding job and to the writer, directors,editing department, every single person I give a standing ovation. This film is very well put together. Gordita is a must see in my book share this with all you know pass it on to go see Gordita this short film is not only for the plus size community but it is for everyone because ti deals with self-worth/ self-image and loving who you are and living life and as i say rock it while you got it.

When we all first heard of the miners we all feared the worst this that there would be no survivors in further investigation at first feared to be one of the many tragedies we have become so sad to say but accustomed to

Chile Miners showed courage and strength in a time were they had no hope but to trust each other and there rescuers that all would be fine and they would be rescued. There will was tested there faith and there courage was put to the ultimate test. As they had to deal with waiting for death even though they were told they would be rescued and how long it would take, this would be a a very tough trial for anyone. "This is what some may say a modern day miracle"

I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection.

These men what courage they should the entire world, this all started on August 5 and Chilean rescue teams came into action and they spent the next 17 days probing down from the desert above to find out if the men were dead or alive. They were cut off from the outside world but the miners never lost track of time. They had with them there cell phones and were able to keep track of time and each other to give each other hope.

The world watched in anticipation as each of the miners came up to the surface, and to see the faces of the miners as they saw the crowds cheer and clap to see them and as each miners families and friends would come to them ad hold them tight we all shed a tear of joy. At this time the miners could see that the world were united as one in prayer for them all. Here is when a lot of us were able to start breathing as one by one came up and we saw how they hugged, kissed there family members and cried in each others arms and thanked God for there rescue.

We thank the rescuers for there diligence and there tireless effort to expiate there rescue and for all others who were and are a part of the miners complete healing process from this experience.

A night terror, also known as a sleep terror or pavor nocturnus, is a parasomnia disorder characterized by extreme terror and a temporary inability to regain full consciousness. The subject wakes abruptly from slow-wave sleep, with waking usually accompanied by gasping, moaning, or screaming while waking. It is often impossible to awaken the person fully because they are so concentrated on waking, and after the episode the subject normally settles back to sleep without waking. A night terror can rarely be recalled by the subject. They typically occur during non-rapid eye movement sleep.
Signs and symptoms

Children
Children from age two to eight are most prone to night terrors, and they affect about fifteen percent of all children,[1] although people of any age may experience them. Episodes may recur for a couple of weeks then suddenly disappear. The symptoms also tend to be different, like the child being able to recall the experience, and while nearly arisen, hallucinate. Children who have night terrors are usually described as 'bolting upright' with their eyes wide open, with a look of fear and panic, and will often scream. They will usually sweat, breathe fast and have a rapid heart rate (autonomic signs). And although it will seem like they are awake, during a night terror, children will appear confused, will not be consolable and won't recognize you. Strong evidence has shown that a predisposition to night terrors and other parasomniac disorders can be passed genetically. Though there are a multitude of triggers, emotional stress during the previous day and a high fever are thought to precipitate most episodes. Ensuring the right amount of sleep is an important factor. Special consideration must be used when the subject suffers from narcolepsy, as there may be a link.

Adults
Though the symptoms of night terrors in adolescents and adults are similar, the etiology, prognosis and treatment are qualitatively different. These night terrors can occur each night if the sufferer does not eat a proper diet, get the appropriate amount of sleep, is enduring stressful events in their life or if they remain untreated. I remember crying so much and feeling as though this was my fault that he was getting sick because of me (We were going through a divorce) at the time he developed this condition we were going thorough a divorce and this affected him more then I thought. I learned or should I say we all learned more about this condition and we were able to deal with night terror as a family.I did not speak of night terrors to my son until i got all the information i needed to help him and when he was much older.

I am happy to say that he no longer has this condition

A night terror, also known as a sleep terror or pavor nocturnus, is a parasomnia disorder characterized by extreme terror and a temporary inability to regain full consciousness. The subject wakes abruptly from slow-wave sleep, with waking usually accompanied by gasping, moaning, or screaming while waking. It is often impossible to awaken the person fully because they are so concentrated on waking, and after the episode the subject normally settles back to sleep without waking. A night terror can rarely be recalled by the subject. They typically occur during non-rapid eye movement sleep.
Signs and symptoms

Children
Children from age two to eight are most prone to night terrors, and they affect about fifteen percent of all children,[1] although people of any age may experience them. Episodes may recur for a couple of weeks then suddenly disappear. The symptoms also tend to be different, like the child being able to recall the experience, and while nearly arisen, hallucinate. Children who have night terrors are usually described as 'bolting upright' with their eyes wide open, with a look of fear and panic, and will often scream. They will usually sweat, breathe fast and have a rapid heart rate (autonomic signs). And although it will seem like they are awake, during a night terror, children will appear confused, will not be consolable and won't recognize you. Strong evidence has shown that a predisposition to night terrors and other parasomniac disorders can be passed genetically. Though there are a multitude of triggers, emotional stress during the previous day and a high fever are thought to precipitate most episodes. Ensuring the right amount of sleep is an important factor. Special consideration must be used when the subject suffers from narcolepsy, as there may be a link.

Adults
Though the symptoms of night terrors in adolescents and adults are similar, the etiology, prognosis and treatment are qualitatively different. These night terrors can occur each night if the sufferer does not eat a proper diet, get the appropriate amount of sleep, is enduring stressful events in their life or if they remain untreated. Body image is a term which may refer to a person's perception of his or her own physical appearance, or the interpretation of the body by the brain. Body image can be described as how individuals see themselves when looking in a mirror, or when picturing themselves in their mind, and their ideas about their body, such as height, shape, and weight and age. Essentially, body image describes how one perceives one's appearance to be in relation to others,which in many cases may be dramatically different from one's objective physical condition or how one is actually perceived by others.

No matter how many reports are out out there nor how many blogs about self esteem and self worth it is always up to the person to start believing in themselves regardless of what is put out there i know, i know its easier said then done but you have to try at least to see yourself as the beautiful and wonderful person you really are. And that you are not a number on a scale, yes we all understand there are health risk if you are overweight and there are health risk if you are underweight also, it is finding a happy medium and not going over board.

Self Worth mean:
The value one assigns to oneself or one's abilities in self assessment, dignity: the quality of being worthy of esteem or respect.

There is so much pressure in society for men and women to be perfect but it is more towards women you can see this in all the magazines and TV programs you can see this. And my question is for what? To promote better life quality i don't think so, when you have pictures of only skin and bones. Or if you reach this unrealistic goal you will be loved by all and if you don't achieve the perfect look you wont fit in you will be all alone or nothing if you don't have the perfect body "oh really". I don't think so

WHY IT MATTERS Domestic violence is the willful intimidation, physical assault, battery, sexual assault, and/or other abusive behavior perpetrated by an intimate partner against another. It is an epidemic affecting individuals in every community, regardless of age, economic status, race, religion, nationality or educational background. Violence against women is often accompanied by emotionally abusive and controlling behavior, and thus is part of a systematic pattern of dominance and control. Domestic violence results in physical injury, psychological trauma, and sometimes death. The consequences of domestic violence can cross generations and truly last a lifetime.

One in every four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime.1 An estimated 1.3 million women are victims of physical assault by an intimate partner each year.2 85% of domestic violence victims are women.3 Historically, females have been most often victimized by someone they knew.4 Females who are 20-24 years of age are at the greatest risk of nonfatal intimate partner violence.5 Most cases of domestic violence are never reported to the police.

CHILDREN WHO WITNESS
Witnessing violence between one’s parents or caretakers is the strongest risk factor of transmitting violent behavior from one generation to the next. Boys who witness domestic violence are twice as likely to abuse their own partners and children when they become adults. 30% to 60% of perpetrators of intimate partner violence also abuse children in the household.

HOMICIDE AND INJURY
Almost one-third of female homicide victims that are reported in police records are killed by an intimate partner. In 70-80% of intimate partner homicides, no matter which partner was killed, the man physically abused the woman before the murder. Less than one-fifth of victims reporting an injury from intimate partner violence sought medical treatment following the injury. Intimate partner violence results in more than 18.5 million mental health care visits each year.

SEXUAL ASSAULT AND STALKING
One in 6 women and 1 in 33 men have experienced an attempted or completed rape.10 Nearly 7.8 million women have been raped by an intimate partner at some point in their lives. Sexual assault or forced sex occurs in approximately 40-45% of battering relationships. 1 in 12 women and 1 in 45 men have been stalked in their lifetime.13 81% of women stalked by a current or former intimate partner are also physically assaulted by that partner; 31% are also sexually assaulted by that partner

ECONOMIC IMPACT
The cost of intimate partner violence exceeds $5.8 billion each year, $4.1 billion of which is for direct medical and mental health services. Victims of intimate partner violence lost almost 8 million days of paid work because of the violence perpetrated against them by current or former husbands, boyfriends and dates. This loss is the equivalent of more than 32,000 full-time jobs and almost 5.6 million days of household productivity as a result of violence. There are 16,800 homicides and $2.2 million (medically treated) injuries due to intimate partner violence annually, which costs $37 billion.

REPORTING RATES
Domestic violence is one of the most chronically underreported crimes. Only approximately one-quarter of all physical assaults, one-fifth of all rapes, and one-half of all stalkings perpetuated against females by intimate partners are reported to the police

PROTECTION ORDERS
Approximately 20% of the 1.5 million people who experience intimate partner violence annually obtain civil protection orders. Approximately one-half of the orders obtained by women against intimate partners who physically assaulted them were violated. More than two-thirds of the restraining orders against intimate partners who raped or stalked the victim were violated.

STATE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE LAWS
States differ on the type of relationship that qualifies under domestic violence laws. Most states require the perpetrator and victim to be current or former spouses, living together, or have a child in common. A significant number of states include current or former dating relationships in domestic violence laws. Is courtship dead? It seems alot of people totally skip that part and goes straight for the bedroom. Why is that? ~Dymond~

And I started to think this is an awesome question as we see all these reality TV shows and how the women act and men act towards women it really shows that there is a low standard that we as women have come to terms with, when we should not come. And when we as women show the men how are interested in us that this is not the we want to be treated. We are label as stuck up and high maintainer i don't think respecting the women you want to be with as sch. If you treat the lady you want to be with, with love kindness respect for who she is and how she makes you feel she will in turn do the same for you. All right lets see what courtship means:

• COURTSHIP (noun)
The noun COURTSHIP has 1 sense:
1. a man's courting of a woman; seeking the affections of a woman (usually with the hope of marriage)

Courtship is the traditional dating period before engagement and marriage. During a courtship, a couple dates to get to know each other and decide if there will be an engagement. Usually courtship is a public affair, done in public and with family approval.

Ok some may think of this as an old fashioned and that was for grandma and grandma we are to intellectual for this old-fashion way of dating, oh really i personal don't think so and lot of women would disagree with that idea. As it states in the definition of courtship that this is were a man is seeking the affections of a women and a period of time were they both get to know each other.

I personal know that this is important I was courted once by this young man from the
Philippines and I was blown away as he would sing love songs to me and I don't mean one or two this went on for months. (I was like what the heck) And because i forgot about courtship I was blown away, but i grow accustom to being treated with love and respect and learned a whole new way of being a better partner by also learning about courtship. And then there is the other part of courtship from a faith based perspective, yes these are things we should think of and ask ourselves were do I stand on courtship.

There are many different cultures that still believe in courtship we should take a lesson and do the same by teaching our children about this very important part of being a great partner (wife/husband)think about it this is the time to get to know each other why always rush to hook up and then what yup then what....

It's not only Ann Taylor's photo's that has been Photoshop but its been numerous other photos that have been touched-up in many magazines and that is were the problems is. It is with the falsehood of telling all the women and young girls out there that this is the way a women should be and putting on more pressure then there should be. We all have enough pressure as women enough we dont need this false message sent out to us and also telling the men ok here this is what a real women looks like. "Please get a reality check"

When in reality we are all different all shapes all sizes different colors and that is what makes this world so beautiful the fact that we have choices we dont need to be like an episode of the Twilight zone were this young lady turned (18) eighteen and had to choose between (2) two models of body type she had to be and she fought with all she had not to change but to be who she was and keep her self respect as an individual not as a clone.

Menopause is not only for Women men actually also have a form of menopause which some doctors refer to this condition as androgen (testosterone) decline in the aging male, or some may call this low testosterone.

What is Low Testosterone?
Low testosterone is defined as less than 300 nanograms per deciliter of blood. The symptoms of low testosterone include low sex drive, erectile dysfunction, mood problems, fatigue, and sleep disturbances. Doctors can prescribe hormone therapy to increase the testosterone levels in your body so that you don’t have to suffer from mood swings, irritability, and a lack of energy.

I have a male friend who was very honest with me and told me that he has this condition and how they treat it and i have notice some mood swings his treatments was first steroid shots and he requested for this to be changed since he was gaining weight. Now he gets a small cut is upper hips were they inject several pellets the size of a tic tac and this slowly releases the medication, this will be in his body for a total of 4 months. There are of course other treatments and one should consult with there doctor to see which one if any should be taken.

Virtually all men experience some decline in testosterone as they start to age and may not even notice that this is going on in their body, its a small percent that a far below considered normal for their age.

High fructose corn syrup is made from corn, a natural grain product. High fructose corn syrup contains no artificial or synthetic ingredients or color additives. High-fructose corn syrup is a common sweetener and preservative. High-fructose corn syrup is made by changing the sugar (glucose) in cornstarch to fructose — another form of sugar. High-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is a manmade sweetener that’s found in a wide range of processed foods, from ketchup and cereals to crackers and salad dressings. It also sweetens just about all of the (regular) soda.

So what so bad about this sweetener when it is from sugar some state that since it was introduced almost 30 years ago obesity has sky rocked since it is in 50 percent of our food “a growing health hazard,” In May 2009, EatingWell did a comprehensive report on high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS), found in many processed foods, and there is the report by Princeton and reported that rats given access to high-fructose corn syrup gained significantly more weight than those exposed to table sugar. Ok so what do we do then is it good or not?

Eatingwell states To date, the research suggests that high-fructose corn syrup and table sugar aren’t that different: they’re both processed sweeteners that add “empty” calories to our diets. Our bodies seem to treat them the same way.

High Fructose Corn Syrup puts people at risk for metabolic syndrome. According to the Mayo Clinic, "Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of conditions that occur together, increasing your risk for heart disease, stroke and diabetes. Having just one of these conditions--increased blood pressure, elevated insulin levels, excess body fat around the waist or abnormal cholesterol levels--contributes to your risk of serious disease. In combination, your risk is even greater." There is a a rise in uric acid in the bloodstream that occurs after fructose is consumed. The temporary spike of HFCS blocks the action of insulin, which typically regulates how body cells use and store sugar and other food nutrients for energy. If uric acid levels are frequently elevated, over time features of metabolic syndrome may develop, including high blood pressure, obesity and elevated blood cholesterol levels.

OK high fructose corn syrup is way worse for you than other sugar !!!! your body has no idea how to process it so it turns it into a heavy fat... and so on i have pages and pages of research on it

High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) has been the subject of a study in lab rats, the control group was given sugar water, the test group was given water+HFCS. This was in addition to the regular diet of Rat Chow. Both groups were given the exact same amount of calories overall, and the same amount of calories in Rat Chow, the ONLY difference was the substitution of HFCS for sugar. The rats given HFCS gained 48% of their body weight in fat. This is the equivalent of a 200 pound person gaining 96 pounds. This was Princeton even.

We wont always please everybody and thats ok as you can see this young upcoming Reggaeton star is showing the world, that he is a fighter since birth and that a few nasty comments wont bring him down. If you see his video comments they say the most horrible things to a child how is really just living his dream. at the age of two (2) he was diagnosed with cancer and was thought to be inoperable, but later on he received a liver translate.

I thought this was the greatest that Penelope Cruz has taken such a strong stand on this subject matter concerning weight and how it is really effecting our young girls, all the pressure that is put on them is just horrible. It has gotten so bad that in Europe then have banned some models that you can see there rib cage. I found an article a while back about an 8( eight) year old anorexic girl you have to know then that the problem has gotten way off and its just ridiculous. And don't get me wrong I am not saying gain so much weight that it effects your health but to be healthy at whatever size you may be.

What it boils down to is your health. Be healthy to get to skinny that you develop a eating disorder and don't gain so much that your health is at risk. There is to much pressure on being perfect in the real world there are no perfect people this is not a Photoshop world. So forget what you see in any of those magazine and what they put up as beauty be true to yourself and know that you are beautiful And if you are considered about your weight please go see a doctor as soon as possible.

The gluteus maximus (or glutæus maximus) is the largest and most superficial of the three gluteal muscles. It makes up a large portion of the shape and appearance of the buttocks.
It is a broad and thick fleshy mass of a quadrilateral shape, and forms the prominence of the nates.
Its large size is one of the most characteristic features of the muscular system in humans,[1] connected as it is with the power of maintaining the trunk in the erect posture. Other primates have much flatter buttocks.
The muscle is remarkably coarse in structure, being made up of fasciculi lying parallel with one another and collected together into large bundles separated by fibrous septa.

Ass,butt,booty,rear-end,badonkadonk,arse,balloon knot,behind,bum, whoopie cakes,patootie and of course the ever popular junk in the trunk. We have all seen it when a women with a round butt the men tend to turn their heads and you can just see their mouth's salivate and even hear some of the remarks they say some may like it and some may not. That was so sad to hear she had it all but felt she was lacking in the rear this cost her the ultimate price which was her life. How far will we a go to change in a hurry what we feel is so wrong with our bodies, to much pressure I always say for something that at the end of the day really is not worth risking your life for. This is a sad finish for this young lady and we must think again it's just a butt come on as lovely as it looks lets keep what we have and work it out. We have so many songs about big butt's but the one we remember are Fat Bottomed Girls by Queen and Baby Got Back by Sir Mix-A-Lot These are songs that just gave it up to the butt and we loved them and enjoyed their lyrics because either we have the big but or love the big butt. What ever it maybe, the round voluptuous and ever so tantalizing butt gets a standing ovation.

The media is a big source of butt loving if I may use such a term look at the new Nike butt ad and how the just blasted and even wrote a poem about the butt (WOW). We as a society have such a love affair with the butt its amazing,that Nike has now taken notice and made an ad about loving your big butt, I cant help but smile a little. So those who have been blessed no longer protest about your gift and celebrate.

The Smokey eye look is always a favorite to so many, and you can use different colors to get different kinds of the smoky look. I just learned a couple from my makeup artist which i thought were so beautiful.

This is an awesome smoky look in the picture tutorial that i found, I love the detail in the pictures, and how they were able to make the pictures so vivid and clear. This is such a great look. Try it out
